That stumble proved to be fortuitous. I was a non-profit fundraiser at the time and he was passionate about his own charity (now the MBC) which had its early beginnings during this time. We spoke at length about his vision and the great need to help children and women at risk of poverty, neglect, domestic violence, AIDS, and physical and sexual abuse.

Michael’s commitment to his charity’s success and his desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others was contagious. I knew immediately that I had to join forces with his team. With my background in event production and Michael’s determination to make much needed social changes and raise much needed funds, it was a perfect collaboration. Years and multiple events later, working with Michael’s legion of devoted volunteers, The MBC has become my passion.

I am proud that the MBC’s tireless efforts and Michael’s steadfast resolve has resulted in 30 years of assistance to those who need it most. I am truly honored to serve as the Vice President of the Governance committee, and it is my belief that together, we can continue to make a difference in the lives of children and women at risk.

Sincerely,
