Since its inception, The Michael Bolton Charities has given away over $4.6 million in grants.

Funds used to provide $5,000 grants to battered women and their children to help rebuild their lives as well as financial and budgeting education for them; second use of funds is to purchase furniture, bedding, towels, and other items for one of the shelters that was completely destroyed.

Yale Child Study Center
"Project Homeward Bound" 
New Haven, Connecticut

Funds to provide the services of a case manager and MSW to work with women and their children who have cycled through the shelter system at least twice to ensure and assist their successful transition back into the community. Project Homeward Bound has facilitated the coordination of systems for the first time which is helping these women to secure the benefits and assistance they need from social service agencies. Work is done at the Christian Community Action Shelter in New Haven.

A collaboration between The Michael Bolton Charities and The Citykids Foundation, Safe Space is a youth-driven program, which utilizes the arts to teach young people self-esteem building, leadership skills and awareness of social issues.
